Joni-Leigh Webster is a mixed-methods researcher who uses data-driven insights to advance equity and well-being for Black communities. With expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, they translate complex data into actionable strategies that address systemic disparities. For instance, their work at the CDC and Emory University focused on HIV prevention, mental health equity, and social media analysis, reflecting their commitment to centering Black experiences in research and policy.

While Joni’s research has primarily focused on addressing the mental health outcomes of Black people, their work at Kindred will channel this passion to help ensure the financial futures of Black people in the South, recognizing that wealth equity is foundational to securing physical, mental, and social wellbeing. When not immersed in data, Joni enjoys crocheting, exploring Atlanta’s vibrant culture with friends, and loving on their furbaby.
